convergence-continuum is Seeking 2 actors to fill out its castfor the regional premier of Oliver Parker! A Dark Comedy By ElizabethMeriwether, directed by Tom Kondilas
AVAILABLE ROLES:

Oliver a damaged 17 year old who isn't so much dealing with hispast but trying to get laid at any opportunity. Energetic, kinda goofy, thetitle role of this black comedy. Would certainly consider someone who couldplay younger than their true age.

Agnes an ambitious assistant to the senator. 20s. It's statedthat she's multi-ethnic.

The production will open Fri, August 20th andrun Thurs-Sat through September 11th, 2021 (11 performances).Showtime is 8 PM

The Roles of Jasper and Willa are already cast.

All roles in this production will receive a stipend.

ABOUT THE PLAY:

An unlikely and uncomfortable friendship exists between old-manalcoholic Jasper and socially awkward 17-year-old Oliver Parker. Living insqualor in a decrepit New York apartment owned by Oliver, Jasper just wants tobe left alone -- but Oliver, determined to use the apartment in his quest toget laid, loses patience with his pathetic existence very quickly. Shadydealings involving a grieving politician and her ambitious assistant Agnes onlyincrease the tension between them, and soon buried shame and secrets bubble tothe surface. Sharply funny and keenly tragic, Oliver Parker! is anything but atypical coming-of-age story.
