*THE CRUCIBLE!!*

*AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT AVENUE ARTS!*
*Located at 207 6th St NW Canton, Ohio 44702*

SYNOPSIS: The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young
servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The
farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie—and it is here that the
monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The
farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of
witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others.

*"THE CRUCIBLE" is presented by special arrangement with Dramatist Play
Services, Inc.*

Auditions will be held on Monday, June 7th and Tuesday, June 8th from 7-9pm
Callbacks (if necessary) will take place later in the week, date TBD.

All auditioners are asked to come prepared to cold read from the script. We
also ask that you bring a current headshot and resume with you to auditions.

At this time, there are no stipends and/or AEA contracts being offered!

*COVID-19 SAFETY: *All safety measures are to be strictly enforced during
this process periods including the use of masks/face shields, social
distancing, temperature checks and frequent sanitazion processes.
Management will continue to take COVID-19 progressions into account as
decisions are made for the safety of the staff, cast, crew and patrons of
Avenue Arts.

*VACCINATION INFO: *Please let us know if you have received the COVID-19
vaccination. This information will be used to assist us in working with our
local health department on safety protocols. *The COVID-19 Vaccination is
NOT a requirement for you to be cast in this production!*

****IMPORTANT: *In agreement with Dramatist Play Service, Inc. this play
will be streamed virtually with a small in-person audience each night.

Performances: July 16th - August 1st (Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and
Sundays at 2pm)
