Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) closes out its
summer concert series at the John Streeter Garden Amphitheater with Idle
Twittering: A Flock of Flutes. French Flutist Louis Fleury (1878–1926)
referred to music of the 19th century as “idle twittering.” What’s the
antidote? A flock of flutes from Northeastern Ohio joins forces for a
tuneful and tootful performance on flutes of all shapes and sizes with
George Pope, Jane Berkner, Kyra Kester, Linda White. In the event of rain,
the concert will be held at Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Avenue,
