No F*cks Given is a stand up show created by Dionne Atchison with the idea
of giving space to local comics to express themselves, release the stress
and anxiety all while telling jokes. She's been running the show for three
years now and has had countless local comics grace the mic and also give
the audience a chance to vent for five minutes to get stuff off their
chest.

Mental Illness and Friends, created and hosted by Deena Nyer Mendlowitz, is
a live comedy talk-show combining stand-up, improv, and open, honest
dialogue with other artists dealing with mental health issues. Nyer
Mendlowitz, who lives with anxiety and suicidal ideation, begins each
performance with a new opening monologue, seamlessly weaving mental
illness, real life, and laughter together. Each month she invites other
comedians, improv artists, actors, and often a musical guest to perform and
share a bit of their own mental health history. The hour-long show closes
with an improv set based on topics discussed that evening. The results are
hilarious, honest, enlightening, empowering, inspiring and leave both the
performers and audience feeling a little more connected and understood.

play we will combine physicality and creativity to problem-solve and
embrace the unknown.This class is made for beginners or those with some
experience. Leading you through the exercises is Sam Dee, a Cleveland based
comedian who co-created Mass Hysteria Improv Fest and a member of Imposters

always craft the cleverest lyrics or the best rhymes. But they do hold
exactly three common traits that make their in-the-moment songs and voices
soar: heart, conviction and simplicity. In this two hour musical improv
workshop, you will learn:

improv
+ How to leverage heart, conviction and simplicity in your own musical
improv
+ Tools and tricks to build compelling verses and belt sticky choruses that
audience members will sing long after the show (this really happens!)

stories are amazing and you should write them down? This workshop is for
anyone who wants to jump start their creativity and start creating stories.
Dana Norway, the author of The Storytelling Code: 10 Simple Rules to Shape
and Tell a Brilliant Story, and founder of national nonfiction storytelling
show Story Club, will show you not only how to tell a great story but also
how to start working on your own story. Each participant will leave not
only with an understanding of what makes a brilliant story, but a strong
start to their own true tale. To ensure everyone has a fun and safe
