[NEohioPAL] Workshop: The Potential of Song with Thomas Richards, Balk Street Theatre, Akron, March 22-24 & 29-31

Thomas Richards, former Artistic Director of the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards, will lead two separate Masterclasses, introducing participants to an exploration of a work on songs of Afro-Carribean and African tradition. These songs have been at the core of Richard’s performing arts research for over 30 years. Such a work on song explores the potential impact that the rhythmic and melodic qualities of certain songs of tradition can have on the persons who sing.


When:

1st Masterclass: March 22, 23, and 24, 6:30pm-9:30pm

2nd Masterclass: March 29, 30, and 31, 6:30pm-9:30pm
