[NEohioPAL] Gates Mills Players Audition Notice - "You Can't Take It With You" - Reminder

The Gates Mills Players will be performing the Radio Play "You Can't Take It
With You" for a ONE NIGHT ONLY performance on August 5th.

 

Auditions for the play will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, June 20, 21, 23 at
the Gates Mills Community House from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

 

If you have never performed on stage before, this would be a great
opportunity to try out your talents.  Seasoned actors also welcomed.  There
is nothing to memorize.  The cast will be reading from the script on stage
during the performance,  just like they used to do back in the 20s and 30s
when they did radio programs with a live audience.

 

Rehearsals will be held about 2 weeks before the performance, so a lot of
time is not required for you to commit to learning a script.  There would be
minimal to no costuming and minimal blocking.  You may be required to be
multiple characters in the play, depending on cast turnout.

 

This would be a great time for you to get your feet wet in a play.

 

The play will be performed outdoors at the Gates Mills Village park under
