Looking for theatre producers and directors who are interested in
presenting new and original stage plays for high school, college, and
community theatres. The plays are written individually by Peter Anthony
Fields and Evonne Fields-Gould.

*THAT GUY by Peter Anthony Fields*
Award Winner in the Performing Arts category of the 2020 Best Book Awards
sponsored by American Book Fest. A playwright who receives inspiration by
interacting with the imagined characters from the play that he is currently
writing is struggling through a period of writer’s block as his characters
have “stopped talking” to him. He soon begins to experience a strong
resurgence of depression and anxiety, along with other physical and
cognitive impairments. After receiving a devastating diagnosis, he is
determined to get his life headed in a productive and positive direction.
But despite his best efforts, everything that matters the most in his life
seems to be on the verge of falling apart.

*FOR THE LOVE OF APRIL by Evonne Fields-Gould*

A one-act drama on a compound set (backyard/living room/2 kitchens). US
English.

Carol’s dog April has been the mainstay of her life since her husband was
killed in Afghanistan. Her close friend Beth tries to help Carol back to
normal life but creepy neighbor Charles intimidates her to such an extent
that Carol is forced into the unthinkable.

*THE INVITED by Peter Anthony Fields*
>From award-winning playwright, Peter Anthony Fields comes a darkly humored
and suspenseful tale of a wealthy businessman who suspects that someone
from his inner circle wants to kill him. So, he hires a mystery
novelist/amateur sleuth to join him and his inner circle at a “lock-down”
where he hopes to ferret out the one who wants him dead.

GIRL LOST by Evonne Fields-Gould
A young, black college student, who knows little of her cultural identity,
takes a remarkable and unforgettable journey of discovery where she learns
that she must acknowledge the past in order to go forward in the world.
Excellent stage play for a large cast. Historical play about the African
American experience.

*CAN THERE BE JUSTICE FOR TJ? by Evonne Fields-Gould*
A powerful play and official selection of the British Theatre
Challenge. Vivian,
a distraught mother, tells the events that lead up to the death of her son,
killed by a police officer, and the impact it had on herself and the
remaining family members.
