Ludwig's "The Three Musketeers" is a swashbuckling romp for the
      whole family in Chagrin Falls

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — Chagrin Valley Little Theatre leaps into 2024 with
an adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' "The Three Musketeers" penned by Tony
Award winner Ken Ludwig. The production will run Fridays and Saturdays
at 7:30 PM from January 25 - February 9, with a matinees at 2:00 PM on
Sunday February 4 and Saturday February 10. Tickets are $21 at CVLT.org,
with a $4 discount for students, seniors, and military.

Director Don Bernardo brings this fast-paced and hilarious play to the
stage, having also helmed a production of Ludwig's "Robin Hood"
adaptation last year. Many of the same beloved actors return for this
production, along with several new faces. Following the Sunday matinee
on 2/4, Mr. Bernardo will present a talk on "The Three Musketeers and
Popular Culture," tracing the history of the Musketeers and Dumas'
novels and their various interpretations across many time periods and
cultures.

Dumas' 1844 story is one of literature's most thrilling and most adapted
romantic adventures. In Ludwig's fresh version, the dashing Musketeers —
and one plucky kid sister — swashbuckle their way through nefarious
villains, international intrigue, and exotic ladies. It's 'all for one
and one for all!' in an action-packed update of this beloved classic.

The titular trio includes John-Paul Whitman as 'Athos,' Doug Vanek as
'Porthos' and Grand Orndorff as 'Aramis' in a company that features
Julian Kruyne (D'Artagnan), Adam V. Young (Cardinal Richelieu), Scott
Sanborn (Father/Treville), Jill Kenderes (Milady), Carlos Canaztuj
(Buckingham), Lucas Bernardo (King Louis), Kaity Poschner (Sabine),
Christina Katsaras (Constance), Anna Ward (Queen Anne), Bill Kosteas
(Rochefort), with additional roles played by Kim Bixenstine, Valerie
Doersen, and James Berner.

The show's scenic, lighting, and sound design are by Tom West, with
costumes by Jacklyn Kruyne. Brenda Willis serves as Stage Manager, with
Kate Williams-Bernado producing. Stephen Bundy arranged and advised on
the show's thrilling fighting and swordplay sequences.

Tickets for "The Three Musketeers" can be purchased online 24/7 at
CVLT.org or by calling the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre Box Office at
440-247-8955, Tuesday - Friday afternoons from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Early
reservations and arrival are highly recommended. CVLT is located at 40
River Street in historic Chagrin Falls Village.
