[NEohioPAL] Ensemble actors and understudies needed for Amadeus

CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE CASTING LOCAL ACTORS FOR PRODUCTION OF AMADEUS



Cleveland Play House (CPH) is casting local actors for the spring production of Amadeus, by Peter Shaffer, directed by Laura Gordon. These roles are non-speaking ensemble roles, some of which will also be understudies for other tracks. These are non-union contracts, paying $600.00 per week. Auditions are by video submission only.



Roles Available:

Note: all ethnicities and genders are encouraged to audition.

  *   Teresa Salieri/Ensemble
  *   2 Male ensemble roles who will also understudy various ensemble tracks
  *   1 Female ensemble role who will also understudy Venticelli 1
  *   1 Female ensemble role who will also understudy Venticelli 2 and Katherina Cavalieri

Rehearsals begin Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and will be held in-person between the hours of 10:00AM and 6:00PM Tuesdays through Sundays, though actors may not be called for the entire time. Rehearsals shift to noon to 10:00 PM during tech. Rehearsals will take place in CPH’s rehearsal spaces, located on the fifth floors of the Middough building, at 1901 East 13th Street in downtown Cleveland.

Performances will take place in The Outcalt Theatre at Playhouse Square between Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 28.
