PRODUCTION ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR MIDDLETOWN

The Case Western Reserve/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program is looking to hire a Production Assistant for its upcoming production of Middletown, by Will Eno and directed by Don Carrier.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Stage Manager during production meetings, rehearsals, and performances of the show. Rehearsals will typically be in the evenings Mondays through Saturdays, though this schedule may adjust with notice.

This position will begin on Tuesday, January 16, to assist the Stage Manager with preparation prior to first rehearsal. Rehearsals begin Monday, January 22. Technical rehearsals are February 16 through 20, with opening night on Wednesday, February 21. Performances run Wednesdays through Saturdays through March 2, with two performances on Saturdays.

Ideal candidates should have some experience in stage management, either in academic or community theatre settings. Candidates should have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, being able to work both collaboratively and independently. Candidates will need access to reliable transportation.

This position will be paid $650.00/week, with a one-time tech week bump-up. This salary is subject to any and all local, state, and federal taxes.
