Amherst's Sandstone Summer Theatre is celebrating 55 years and is excited
to open *Legally Blonde The Musical **this Thursday, July 11 through
Saturday, July 13!* The production features a cast of 42 performers, 15+
crew, and 7 musicians from all over Lorain and Cuyahoga County. The show is
directed by Hannah Dougall, stage managed by Thomas Hauser, with music
direction by Dr. Justin Caithaml, choreography by Sam Dzielski, lighting
design by Thomas Hauser, scenic design by Lily Kachurchak, scenic
construction by Patrick Sanders, costume designs by Emily Fisher and Hannah
Dougall, and props design by Madi Ries.

*Performances will take place at Avon High School's Performing Arts Center

*SYNOPSIS: *Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside
down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law.
Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the
prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors
and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly
realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Based on
the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture.
