*MTC to Hold Auditions for Stranger Sings: The Stranger Things Parody
Musical This Weekend!*

*Youngstown, Ohio*- The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding an open
casting call for* Stranger Sings: A Parody Musical*. Auditions will be held
at the
Youngstown Playhouse (600 Playhouse Lane) on Friday, August 1st from
6pm-9pm and Saturday, August 2nd, from 12pm-3pm. To sign up for an audition
slot, please visit millennialtheatre.org and click on Auditions.

Auditioners should come prepared with a 30-60 second cut of a song in the
style of the show. A headshot and resume are encouraged but not required.
No accompanist will be provided, so please bring a track (Bluetooth speaker
will be provided). Those auditioning will also be asked to perform cold
read sides from the show.

Rehearsals will run Monday-Thursday 6-9pm starting in mid September. *Stranger
Sings! A Parody Musical* will play November 7-23 in the Moyer Room at the
Youngstown Playhouse. Ages 16+. All roles are open.

*Stranger Sings* tells the story of Season 1 of the hit TV show Stranger
Things. Take a trip back to Hawkins, Indiana: 1983... when times were
simpler, hair was
bigger, and unsupervised children were getting snatched by interdimensional
creatures. Stranger Sings! A Parody Musical is a hilarious ‘upside down’
take on the
hit Netflix series - and all its campy 1980s glory!

The production is directed by Joe Asente with Music Direction by Cari Auth
and Choreography by Danielle Mentzer.
