Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's production of Beautiful: The Carole King 
Musical is holding auditions to fill several male ensemble roles. 
Performers cast may be required for doubling.


    In-Person Audition Details

*Date:* Monday, December 15th, 2025

*Time:* 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (EST)

*Location:* Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's River Room

    Video Submissions

Video submissions are accepted and must be submitted by *December 15th, 
2025*.

    Audition Requirements

  * Please record 32 bars of a song in the theme of the show.
  * Record with a karaoke track or accompaniment; a cappella singing is
    not permitted.
  * Include a current resume and headshot with your submission.


    Open Male Featured / Ensemble Parts

*Bobby Vee* – One of the best-selling teen idols of the day.

*Neil Sedaka* – Contemporary singer-songwriter of the day, who once 
dated Carole in high school and wrote a song about it.

*Bobby Hatfield (Righteous Brother)* – Must sing tenor; featured vocalist.

*Lou Adler* – Speaking role, but a singer is preferred for the Ensemble. 
(The legendary LA music executive producer.)

*Drifters* – Two Black males needed. Strong singers who can carry their 
own line of four-part harmony and good movers who can execute guy group 
choreography of the day (think The Temptations and The Four Tops).


    Production Schedule

*Rehearsals Begin:* January 11th, 2026

*Show Dates:* March 27th through April 19th, 2026
