*Millennial Theatre Company to Hold Auditions for Area Premiere of Mean
Girls the Musical!*
*Youngstown, Ohio - *The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding an
open casting call for *Mean Girls the Musical*. Auditions will be held at
the Youngstown Playhouse (600 Playhouse Lane) on Thursday, January 8th,
from 5:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday, January 10th, from 11pm-3:30pm. ALL ROLES
ARE OPEN!

Please come prepared with a 30-60 second cut of a song in the style of the
show. A headshot and resume are encouraged but not required. No accompanist
will be provided, so please bring a track (Bluetooth speaker will be
provided). Actors should be  prepared to do cold read sides from the show
and also learn a short dance combo! Rehearsals will run Monday-Thursday
6-9pm starting in mid-late February at The Youngstown Playhouse. Signups
for audition slots can be found at millennialtheatre.org. Walk-ins will be
accepted as slots become available.

*Mean Girls* tells the story of Cady Heron, who may have grown up on an
African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of
her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to
the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio
of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But
when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign,
she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting
stung.
