The University of Mount Union is now accepting submissions from skilled
actor/improvisors to serve as Standardized Patients for our Health Science
departments.

Standardized Patients portray individuals with specific medical histories
and present those cases in simulated clinical examination settings. Actors
will learn detailed patient backgrounds and perform these roles
consistently for student assessments and training experiences.

We welcome performers of any gender identity with strong improv skills,
emotional consistency, and the ability to respond authentically within
structured scenarios. Prior acting or improvisation experience is
preferred; medical knowledge is not required—training will be provided.
Travel to Alliance is required.  We are especially seeking performers to
portray middle-aged and older adult patients

This is a paid opportunity that allows performers to apply their craft in a
meaningful, educational context while supporting the development of future
healthcare professionals.
