JANUARY 29 – FEBRUARY 14, 2026

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) announces the 10th anniversary of its quintessential new play development series, Test Flight<https://www.cptonline.org/>, back with six weekends of established and up-and-coming Northeast Ohio artists. Each weekend features a double bill allowing patrons two plays for the price of one!  There will be pieces by Molly McFadden, fresh off her successful run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and a dance theatre piece by Assembly for the Arts 2025 Creative Impact Awardee Elizabeth Pollert and more. The last weekend Feb. 12 – Feb. 14 features CPT’s two community ensembles Teatro Público de Cleveland<https://www.cptonline.org/education/teatro-publico-de-cleveland/> and Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi<https://www.cptonline.org/about/resident-artists-and-companies/masrah-cleveland-al-arabi/>.

Parrot Play

Two old college friends and their husbands endure a high stakes and last-minute reunion that …doesn’t quite stir up the good ol’ times of 40 years prior.  Chaos, confessions, a little weed, and an unruly parrot make for a bizarre and revelatory night as four septuagenarians navigate their next chapter of life.

Perigon: A Birth Story

A Birth Story, by Marie McCausland, is inspired by Marie’s lived experiences throughout adolescence, birth, and womanhood.  Join us as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.
Boxed: A Dance Theatre Show

A witty dance theatre work taking a sharp look at what it means to make room for our whole selves in a world of endless boxes.

The Exit Door

Test Flight is presented in the James Levin Theatre which is ADA-compliant featuring a patron elevator and an all-gender, wheelchair accessible restroom.
