This classic tale of spiritual awakening and personal metamorphosis challenges Belle and the Beast - and all of us - to re-think our definitions of love, beauty and inclusion. Based on the French fairy tale "La Belle et le Bête" by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, this classic story has countless adaptations, including two incredible Disney films, featuring music and lyrics by the Tony Award-winning team of Alan Menken, Tim Rice, and the late Howard Ashman. This sensory production will be performed in a friendly, supportive environment for an audience of families and friends of people who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or other sensitivity issues. There will be slight adjustments to the production including reduction of any jarring sounds or strobe lights focused into the audience. Also, there will be quite spaces and activity areas set up in the theatre lobby for those who need to leave their seats during the performance.
