cleveland PUBLIC theatre presents Into the Heart of One Star<https://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2025-2026/into-the-heart-of-one-star/> By Raymond Bobgan with contributions from Anastasía Urozhaeva Directed by Raymond Bobgan Performed by Raymond Bobgan and Anastasía Urozhaeva A World Premiere March 25 – April 11, 2026 Cleveland Public Theatre’s Executive Artistic Director Raymond Bobgan is kicking off his 20th year in the role with a new show called Into the Heart of One Star<https://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2025-2026/into-the-heart-of-one-star/>. About the Show Icarus is gone but his father is left to wonder about the flight that went so wrong. Could he have prevented it all and should he now choose death? Dagny, a “simple woman from Siberia,” begins in a U.S. secret intelligence interrogation room, and rises to become a leader in science, business, and space flight all the while wishing for a home she is not sure existed. Both journeys reflect on each other in a duet about yearning, loneliness, navigating this world, and seeking the light beyond. Opening Night Celebration| Friday, March 27 at 7:30pm You are cordially invited to a post-show reception in celebration of the show’s opening. Reception includes complimentary food and a selection of free beverages. Haunted<https://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2025-2026/haunted/> By Tara Moses Through Sunday, March 22, 2026 A National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere<https://nnpn.org/rolling-world-premiere> “The show is blessed with a strong cast… “This work is a valuable “entry” point to not only learn about but appreciate and respect a rich history of Native activism, which the audience can see and collaborate with.” —Dr. Yuko Kurahashi, Cleveland Critics Circle "Cleveland Public Theatre’s ‘Haunted’ is a bit of spooky fun...An intriguing concept of combining near modern pop cultural with ancient traditions makes this a show worth seeing..." —Mark Horning About the Show Ash and Aaron have been dead for twenty years, and the Indigenous siblings pass their time dancing to Britney Spears, Beyonce, and Mariah Carey while haunting the families that try to move into their house and wondering if they’ll ever be free from the shackles of racist stereotypes. An Indigenous horror comedy with the coolest Y2K hits, Tara Moses’ Haunted forces us to confront the very land we walk on and our relationship (or lack thereof) with Native communities today. Free Bev Fridays After every Friday performance, enjoy a selection of beverages on us while discussing the show with artists and audience members. Hot beverages are always complimentary.
