THE WESTERN RESERVE PLAYHOUSE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE AUDITIONS FOR… The Spitfire Grill - A Musical Music and Book by James Valcq Lyrics and Book by Fred Alley Based on the film by Lee David Zlotoff Directed by: Daniel Hunsicker <dhuns1515@gmail.com> Musical Director: Patrick Wickliffe Audition Dates: February 11, 2023 - 11AM-1PM February 12, 2023 - 6:30PM-9:30PM Audition Location: The Western Reserve Playhouse 3326 Everett Road Bath, Ohio 44286 Callbacks: As Needed Performances: Only Seven Shows - April 14-29, 2023 (Friday and Saturday at 8:00PM and April 23, 2023, Sunday at 2PM) Rehearsals: Will begin around February 26, 2023 Rehearsals will run Sunday (afternoons) Monday-Thursday (evenings) based on cast availability. This is a 6 week rehearsal process Audition Requirements: - Please prepare 32 bars or 90 seconds of a contemporary (1970s+) musical theater song (no a cappella singing). - There will be cold readings from the show - Do not need to prepare a monologue at this time. Note: There will certainly be movement, but this is not a dance show.
