Synopsis: Jake is a crusty, crazy, cheap, impecunious, paranoid, retired school teacher from Cleveland, Ohio who runs a diner in the middle of nowhere in Arizona. Jake is convinced that a stranded couple, Mary and Joseph, from Voorheesville, New York, are actually extra-terrestrials. Jake holds the couple captive. Joseph, to humor Jake, "confesses" to being an alien, while Mary goes bonkers trying to convince Jake that Joseph was just saying things Jake wanted to hear.
