Our organization, Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio (DCNEO), is looking to hire PART TIME Teaching Artists for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. DCNEO is a nonprofit organization that implements a 10 week - 20 session social development for 5th and 8th grade students as part of the required academic school day program (not an optional or elective program held after-school). No ballroom dance experience is necessary. Dancing Classrooms Teaching Artists are: -Actors, dancers, individuals who can move with rhythm -Have excellent interpersonal skills; love kids -Able to work in a team; work in a classroom -Have a generous spirit -A sense of humor, of language, of rhythm -Willingness to travel throughout Northeast Ohio (primarily Cuyahoga and/or Summit counties) -You will be fingerprinted with state of Ohio upon employment. Job Details Employment is PART TIME (4-10 hours/week depending on your availability), during the school year, between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00pm. There is an unpaid 4 day training that will take place July 23-26, 2019 in Broadview Heights, Ohio.
