Shakespeare’s poetry for the Actor (Acting Workshop Jan 3) Associate Professor of Theater Dr. Jerry Jaffe will be offering a one-day acting workshop on Shakespeare. The emphasis will be on how the poetry of the writing can help the actor create a more meaningful performance. This will include rhyme, meter, imagery and (of course!) iambic pentameter. This workshop is open to all members of the community. All levels of experience welcome, beginner to advanced, and all ages from high school on may participate.
