If you love seeing a child’s eyes light up through dance, enjoy working collaboratively, and are open to a flexible learning environment for your students, we want to meet you!Please send your current resume with cover letter to DANCE@THRIVEARTS.CENTER.REQUIREMENTS - Love of working with children and teens.- Teaching expertise in one or more of the following dance styles: Ballet, Jazz, and/or Hip Hop.- Thirst for learning about developmentally appropriate instruction for students.- Comfortable interacting with parents and children alike.- Willing to make year-long teaching commitments.- Bachelor's degree in Dance Performance or related field preferred.- Advanced degree in Dance Pedagogy or Dance Performance is a plus.- Experience in early childhood education is a plus.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONYou will be responsible for creating lesson plans each week in preparation for teaching. You will have a consistent weekly schedule and will follow up with students’ families to make sure we are meeting their needs.
