Following the Sunday matinee on 2/4, Mr. Bernardo will present a talk on "The Three Musketeers and Popular Culture," tracing the history of the Musketeers and Dumas' novels and their various interpretations across many time periods and cultures. In Ludwig's fresh version, the dashing Musketeers — and one plucky kid sister — swashbuckle their way through nefarious villains, international intrigue, and exotic ladies. It's 'all for one and one for all!' in an action-packed update of this beloved classic. The titular trio includes John-Paul Whitman as 'Athos,' Doug Vanek as 'Porthos' and Grand Orndorff as 'Aramis' in a company that features Julian Kruyne (D'Artagnan), Adam V. Young (Cardinal Richelieu), Scott Sanborn (Father/Treville), Jill Kenderes (Milady), Carlos Canaztuj (Buckingham), Lucas Bernardo (King Louis), Kaity Poschner (Sabine), Christina Katsaras (Constance), Anna Ward (Queen Anne), Bill Kosteas (Rochefort), with additional roles played by Kim Bixenstine, Valerie Doersen, and James Berner.
