Fee $25 *SHAKESPEARE SOLILOQUIES* * March 23, 9 to noon* Deborah Cluts, Instructor Ages 10 and up Enter the world of Shakespeare’s monologues. Learn how to perform them for stage and audition. Students will receive individualized coaching and leave with a monologue they can use for audition. The workshop will end in a 30 minute performance of what the students have learned. Fee $25 *MAKEUP**’**S MANY FACES* * March 23, 1 to 4 pm* Ages 10 and up Deborah Cluts, Instructor Learn stage makeup basics, and explore complicated applications like: Old age makeup Fantasy makeup Wound makeup Students will get to see their works of art on the big stage! Make up provided. *Limit 12* Fee $25 *MASTER AUDITION WORKSHOP* * March 24, 10 am to 3 pm *Ages 10 and up Deborah Cluts, Instructor This intensive all-day workshop will teach students how to prepare for and perform a successful presentation of their talent, culminating in a mock try-out compete with cold readings, monologues, and a dance audition. *Limit 25* Fee $40 *Meet the Instructors* *Deborah Cluts* spent four years as an Actor Teacher with Great Lakes Theater where she taught Shakespeare's works to schools throughout Greater Cleveland. She has also directed at several community theatres in Northeast Ohio. For the past two years, Cluts has served as the artistic director for Aurora Community Theatre’s Children’s Summer Workshops. She currently plays Tuppence in the touring production of *The Secret Adversary* with Great Lakes Theater. *John Krol* brings professional music and theatre experience from working with area schools and community theatres as well as vocal coaching for music theatre students at his own studio. Krol, music director for Aurora Community Theatre’s productions of *Rent* and *Into the Woods Jr*, has also served as music director for Beck Center for the Arts, Fairmount Performing Arts Center, and Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute. His educational credentials include a bachelors degree in music and theatre from the University of Detroit, a masters degree in music and composition from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a masters degree in conducting from Southern Methodist University. *Spring Break Workshops 2016* will be held at Aurora Community Theatre 115 E.
