Based on his experiences there, Sedaris wrote a semi-autobiographical monologue, originally for radio, that has since evolved into the one-man play The Santaland Diaries. In keeping with Sedaris's sardonic and satirical style, The Santaland Diaries is a brilliant evocation of what a slacker's Christmas must feel like.
