Three short comedies; a team of talented actors and musicians; two nights to catch this one-of-a-kind theater experience. Two Slatterns and a King: A Moral Interlude by Edna St. Vincent Millay Pushed, prodded, and propelled by Chance, will our King make the right choice? Suppressed Desires by Susan Glaspell Henrietta is obsessed with psychoanalysis, but what will be revealed as she digs into everyone’s secret, even to them, inner life? The Bear by Anton Chekov A desperate, determined, man comes to claim what he is owed from a grieving widow. They don’t get along. Direction by: Nicole Coury and Cole Tarantowski Music Direction by: Jonah Raider-Roth and Zach Palumbo Featuring the talents of: Michael Montanus, Sabrina Maristela, Alexa Fatheringham, Zach Palumbo, Katherine Nash, Mike Frye, and Carolyn Demanelis This project is an evening of little-seen one-act comedies. I am so excited about getting a wonderful, funny, creative group of performers together to bring these seldom produced scripts to life. All of these scripts are coming together in a fun, innovative, modern way that will speak to audiences more than 100 years after these pieces were written. This project will involve minimal tech with actors creating most necessary effects. There will also be live musical underscoring in all of the three pieces.
