In the Heat of the Night *[Ohio Regional Première]* *By Matt Pelfrey Directed by Brian Zoldessy* *It is 1962...a hot August night in the small town of Argo, Alabama. A dead white man is discovered, and the local police pick up a black stranger named Virgil Tibbs. The bigoted, white Chief of Police discovers that his prime suspect is in fact a homicide detective from California. As it happens, Tibbs becomes the racially tense community's single hope in solving a brutal murder that is turning up no witnesses, no motives, and no clues. The play (adapted by acclaimed playwright Matt Pelfrey) is based upon John's Ball's award winning book that inspired the Oscar winning film.* *Performances:* *Thursday, March 29 at 10:30am & 7:30pm * *Friday, March 30 at 7:30pm* *Saturday, March 31 at 7:30pm* * For Reservations/Information:* *216-987-4947 <(216)%20987-4947> or www.trictickets.com <http://www.trictickets.com/> * * Tri-C East Campus * * The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center, Mandel Theatre* *4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills, OH 44122 <https://maps.google.com/?q=4250+Richmond+Road,+Highland+Hills,+OH+44122&entry=gmail&source=g>* Middle Building - Parking Lot E
