First presented at Actors’ Summit in 2009, Quilters depicts the lot of women on the frontier. The stories are based on first person oral histories. They share the love, warmth, rich and lively humor, and the moving spectacle of simple human dignity and steadfastness in the face of adversity. *(This production coincides with the Summit County Historical Society Mutton Hill Quilt Show at the John S. Knight Convention Center.)* *Guys On Ice* *Nov. 25 -- Dec. 22, 2015 * Comedy, fishing stories, music, laughter, and a “Half-time” show! *Guys On Ice* is one of our most popular shows, and great fun for the whole family! Lloyd and Marvin brave the cold as they dream big dreams about catching big fish, while enjoying the simple pleasures of a fishing-pole and a warm snowmobile suit, all the while hoping Ernie the Moocher won’t stop by! *Same Time, Next Year** Jan. 21 -- Feb. 7, 2016 *One of the most popular romantic comedies of the century, *Same Time, Next Year* ran four years on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for actress Ellen Burstyn. In 2014 Tony Award winning actress- Phylicia Rashad and Kenny Leon starred in the True Colors Theater production in Atlanta. It remains one of the world's most widely produced plays. The plot follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers. *Chiapatti** Feb 25 – Mar. 13, 2016 Northeast Ohio premiere *Romance is a distant memory for two lonely animal-lovers living in Dublin. When forlorn Dan and his dog Chapatti cross paths with the amiable Betty and her nineteen cats, an unexpected spark begins a warm and gentle story about two people re-discovering the importance of human companionship. *Tally’s Folly* *April 14 **-- May 1, 2016 * *Tally’s Folly *deals with the courtship of the young Sally Talley and her Jewish suitor, Matt Friedman. Written by Lanford Wilson this play, set in Lebanon Missouri in 1944, deals with definably American themes. A warm, rich, love story to savor and cheer. *Tintypes * *May 19 -- June 19*, *2016 *Tintypes is a tune-filled musical melting pot; the Great American Songbook come to life. It offers snapshots, of America in its last Age of Innocence. This TONY nominated, nostalgic, musical revue takes us back to turn of the 19th century America and is a brew of popular songs from 1890 to 1917. It’s the era of Charlie Chaplin and Teddy Roosevelt. It features along list of great American tunes. —“Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight,” “Meet Me In St. Louis;” “Yankee Doodle Boy,” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag” this American musical revue is a great family hit.
