Director David Bucci will hold auditions for roles in “Love, Gas and Dogs,” the Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo recorded theater offering for February, this Sunday, Jan. 10, from 1-5 p.m. at the theater, 236 Buffalo Street, Conneaut. The original comedy script features a return to the Mega Gas Station which was the setting of the recently-posted “It Happened One Christmas.” According to author Clay Nielsen, the seven-member cast features four of the original roles plus three newcomers. The roles include: Gabe, male, 20s-late 30s, a clerk •Jenny Gresh, aka Chang, female, late teens to early 30s, a clerk Mad Dog Murphy, male, 40s-60s, a hard-core biker Ellen Wheels, female, 40s, an obsessive former bowler •Skeet Perkins, male, 20s-40s, a country singer superstar Daniel Yoder, male, 60s, Amish owner of the Mega Gas •Maura Dis, female, 30s-60s, a music tour manager • - denotes new role Bucci will also hold online auditions for people unable/unwilling to attend the regular sessions.
