Beck Center for the Arts Presents Improvisation Performance/Workshop with In2ative Duo Saturday, January 9th 2:00 to 4:00pm Join the highly creative duo, In2ative<http://www.in2ativeduo.com/> (Kimberly Zaleski, flute and Trevor Kazarian, cello) as they discuss and demonstrate their approach to improvising while incorporating many diverse styles of music into their performance. Their music features original compositions, so there will be an emphasis on song writing as well. Instrumentalists are encouraged to bring their instrument and join in an interactive jam session - experiencing what it's like to play by ear and create your own music. Vocalists and non-musicians are also welcome. For all those interested, there will even be a beginner's guide to beat-boxing. Don't miss out on this fun and energetic music workshop! "The music created by avant-garde, flute and cello duo, In2ative<http://www.in2ativeduo.com/> offers a great example of how two apparently different musical cultures can come together and create something truly astonishing." -Andrea Caccese, CMUSE music news Improvisation Performance/Workshop with In2ative Duo Saturday, January 9th 2:00 to 4:00pm Ages: 12 and up Cost: $15 Location: Music and Dance Building - Studio 101 Beck Center for the Arts 17801 Detroit Avenue Lakewood Ohio 4410 To register or more information, call 216.521.2540 ext 37, or visit www.beckcenter.org<http://www.beckcenter.org/>
