Workshop Players Theater presents The Game’s Afoot (or Holmes for the Holidays), a comedy by Ken Ludwig, directed by Kristina Rivera. Broadway star William Gillette (Jonathan McCleery), admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. Then it’s up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this thrilling and quirky whodunit! The cast also includes Marcia Deist, Dale Hruska, Shelbey Linder, Julie Marchand, Erin Mount, Heidi Sarvis-Sapp and John Telepak. Performances are March 31; April 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees on April 10, 17 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $13, with groups of ten or more $11 each.
