Reel Pages is the brainchild of ROTLT's Managing and Artistic Director Caroline Breder-Watts, and springs from her many years as a radio show host, content creator and podcast producer. "Ever since my childhood, I have been fascinated by the movies", Caroline explained. "Until recently, I was the producer of the Columbus Moving Picture Show podcast, where I interviewed a number of authors of books on film. With that project coming to an end, I wanted to continue my conversations with these writers. There are many books being written about actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, composers and others in the industry and I want to give them a place to talk about their work". The first episode spotlights director Alfred Hitchcock, and Caroline interviews the authors of two books that provide a fresh look at the legendary filmmaker - Tony Lee Moral (A Century of Hitchcock: The Man, The Myths, The Legacy) and Stephen C. Smith (Hitchcock and Herrmann: The Friendship and Film Scores That Changed Cinema).
