With lyrics and music by the late Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Goldman, "Follies" imagines the reunion of ex-Follies performers amid a crumbling theatre, soon to be razed for a parking lot. * *Amid the reminiscing, two middle-aged couples confront some unpleasant truths about their past and present, coming face-to-face with not only their future but their past selves. The former stars of the Follies relieve memories and stumble through old numbers and somewhat magically experience their old hits from Broadway's past in the Sondheim songs. * * Callbacks will be held, in person by invitation only, on Saturday, August 6 between 1:00 AND 4:00 PM at Lakeland Community College. * *Great roles for women and men of all ethnicities and ages.
