Call for Musicians Center for Arts-Inspired Learning is currently seeking one trombone instructor for the Spring 2020 season. Candidates must have prior background in working with youth and strong professional or college level trombone experience. This program is an opportunity to connect underserved youth in Cleveland to classical instrument instruction. Participants in grades 3-8th will have the opportunity to learn how to play the trombone for the first time or enhance previous skills. All participants will be given a trombone for free for the duration of this program and have the opportunity to keep these for future use. Professional Teaching Artist Position: Teaching Artist will develop the main lesson plan for the program and instruct students once a week. This position will work in collaboration with the teaching assistance to ensure program consistency and quality for participant progress. Class Schedule: Fridays 4pm-5:30pm. Teaching artist is expected to arrive on site 30 minutes prior to program for set up. Program Details: When: January 13th 2020 – April 4th 2020.
