Cleveland Act Now Academy at Cleveland Public Theatre Spring Session: 7-week after school theatre training program WHEN * February 4th - March 19th * Tuesdays and Thursdays * 4:00pm - 5:45pm WHO * 6 th, 7 th, and 8th graders WHAT * Taught by Cleveland Act Now (CAN) Academy Lead Teaching Artists Faye Hargate and Zyrece Montgomery, the spring session explores acting fundamentals and ensemble theatre practices with special attention on building vocal power, exploring creative movement, and introductory scene work. WHERE * Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 COST * This program is offered at NO COST thanks to the support of the Cleveland Foundation and other generous supporters. ENROLL * Youth who are new to CAN must participate fully in one audition and then be selected by Lead Teaching Artists for admittance into session. Youth who successfully completed the fall session are invited to participate in the spring session without audition. * Enrollment is capped at 20 young artists.
