FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 1, 2024 MTC to Hold Virtual Auditions for Select Roles in *It Shoulda Been You**!* Youngstown, Ohio- The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding virtual auditions for select roles in their next production, It Shoulda Been You. Auditions will be accepted until Sunday, February 11. Auditioners should record themselves singing a 30-60 second cut of a musical theatre song of their choice and email it to millennialtheatrecompany@gmail.com. Headshots and resumes are welcome and encouraged, but not required. Actors will receive a confirmation email with a cut from the script after their audition has been received. If an audition is sent in and a confirmation email is not received, please resend your audition. *It Shoulda Been You *will rehearse and perform at Hopewell Theatre in Youngstown. Rehearsals will begin March 13 and run on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Performances are April 19-21, 26-28. The roles available include Annie Shepard (African American Female, ages 25+), Albert (Male ages 25+), Mimsy (Female 18+), Uncle Morty (Male 50+) and Aunt Sheila (Female ages 40+). All other roles have been cast. The bride is Jewish. The groom is Catholic. Her mother is a force of nature. His mother is a tempest in a cocktail shaker. And, when the bride's ex-boyfriend crashes the party, the perfect wedding starts to unravel faster than you can whistle "Here Comes the Bride!"
