*The Dark Room at Cleveland Public Theatre on January 13th* *This month: Open Mic! * The Dark Room is a place where writers take center stage and their work has a chance to grow. The Dark Room is an ongoing event held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and resources to develop new works. It offers a venue to workshop plays, novels, poems, or any other written work in a supportive, yet critical environment. *Tuesday, January 13th* *The Parish Hall at Cleveland Public Theatre* (Located under the marquee) 6415 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 *FREE Beer!* *6:45 - 7:00pm: *Sign-up begins for writers and actors (space is limited). Writers can bring up to *10 minutes* of work to be read; actors will be cast on the spot! Writers, please bring enough copies of your work- one for each actor and one for stage directions and make sure that they are stapled and the title of the piece is on the first page. All writers and actors *must arrive by 7:00pm* for consideration. *PLEASE NOTE:* Work will be chosen randomly from all submissions until slots are full. *7:30pm: *Open Mic Session readings begin Suggested donation of $5 is welcomed at the door, but not required.
