Baldwin Wallace University and The Mill Reading Series Presents An Online Reading by *Nambi E. Kelley* Mar 30, 2021 04:30 PM EST *The Mill Reading Series *presents playwright and actress Nambi E. Kelley. This hour-long event will begin with an introduction by Mill Editor-in-Chief Mary Simmons, followed by Ms. Kelley's reading, and end with an audience Q-and-A moderated by BW Senior Lillian McAfee. *Nambi E. Kelley: *Award-winning playwright/actress Nambi E. Kelley is currently in residence at New Victory Theatre through the LabWorks Program for BIPOC artists in New York City. She was chosen by Toni Morrison to adapt her novel *Jazz*. Her adaptation of Richard Wright’s *Native Son* has been seen across the country and premiered off-Broadway in 2019 at The Duke on 42nd Street (The Acting Company; AUDELCO Award for “Best Play”). Nambi is a former playwright-in-residence at the National Black Theatre, the Goodman Theatre, and a former Dramatists Guild Fellow.
