Please sign up for auditions using this form: https://goo.gl/forms/zCYggJCTCLq2NDtj1 Walk ins are also welcome. *AUDITION LOCATION:* Tri-C Metro Campus, Studio Theater (Room MTA 10) | 2900 Community College Ave. Cleveland, OH 44115 *AUDITION DATE & TIME:* Friday, February 24th, 5pm - 7pm (please use the form below to register) *CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS*: *Trinculo* (male or female any age - teen to adult) a comedic character whose drunken boasting and petty greed reflects and deflate the quarrels and power struggles of Prospero and the other nobles. *Ariel as child forms* – (age 7-11 should seem younger) In this form, the spirit Ariel teases and tricks Stephano, Trinculo, and Caliban. Dance or acrobatic skills preferred but not required. Seeking to cast three children for the child forms. *Mariners* - (male or female, any age) appear in the beginning of the play desperately trying to navigate the ship carrying the King through the storm. *Child with Book* - (male or female age 6-10) reads from a book about the mysteries of migration at the opening of the curtain at the beginning of the play. *Yemaya* - a powerful Goddess of the living ocean (speaking role) *Oshun* - Goddess of sweet, fresh waters, fertility and prosperity (speaking role) *Oya* - a powerful Goddess of winds and tempests, a fierce warrior (non-speaking role can be played by a dancer) *Shango *- a powerful God of Thunder and Lightning (non-speaking role can be played by a dancer) *Models & Actors for Island Spirits* who appear in various guises throughout the play (non-speaking roles) PERFORMANCE DATES: April 12th at 10:30am and 7:30pm; April, 13th, 14th, and 15th at 7:30pm | TRI-C METRO MAIN STAGE THEATRE Actors may perform a prepared monologue or read from a selection of the script or their own choice of poem or spoken word.
