Book, Music & Lyrics by Lionel Bart Directed by Maryann Nagel & Greg Violand Musical Direction by Malik Khalfani Choreography by Tricia Feighan Sold from the only life he's ever known in a toilsome workhouse to be an apprentice coffin-follower for a jocund undertaker, the orphaned and hapless Oliver escapes to find someplace he truly belongs. Taken in by a band of young pickpockets, Oliver thinks he's finally found a family until a robbery gone sour incurs the wrath of their menacing leader. Filled with Broadway hits and heart, "consider yourself" invited to Oliver this summer! PREPARATION * Bring a resume, picture and general knowledge of sizes, e.g. shoe, dress, pants, jacket, etc. * Prepare one 32 bar selection (pre-cut & in correct key); an accompanist will be provided. * Dress for movement. Sunday, February 11 READING 6:30PM-10:00PM All adults who attended the music/dance auditions must also attend this date. Select children who attend the music/dance auditions will be invited to this audition to read for OLIVER, THE ARTFUL DODGER & BET.
