Auditions for Dale Wasserman’s *ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST* (based on the novel by Ken Kesey) will take place at The Beck Center in Lakewood, OH on Wednesday, July 19th and Thursday, July 20th *by appointment only*. Slots are still open! We will work you in. NYC based Guest Director William Roudebush is seeking a cast of 21 (16 men and 5 Women) for Beck Center’s opening show on the Mackey Main Stage. Some doubling may occur. *ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST* opens September 15th and closes Oct. 8th. Performances are Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, with an added Thursday evening on Oct. 5th. Rehearsals will begin approximately August 15th, give or take a few days. Ages of characters vary greatly, but range from early 20’s thru 70. *All roles are OPEN!* No early casting has taken place. It is anticipated that two Equity contracts will be offered (Guest Artist---Tier 1). All non-union actors 18 and over are compensated for their participation. Major roles include: Randle P. McMurphy, Nurse Ratched, Dale Harding, Billy Bibbit and Chief Bromden (seeking actors 6’2 and taller for the chief, ideally with a non-caucasian background.) Supporting roles include: {*Patients*: Ellis, Scanlon, Cheswick, Martini, Ruckly, Fredericks, Sefelt and Col. Matterson*. Staff*: Aides Warren, Williams and Turkle, Nurses Flynn and Nakamura, and Dr. Spivey.
