SAT, AUG 22 IS NOW SOLD OUT FOR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF THE DRAMATIC COMEDY TEAR IT OFF, NOW ONSTAGE AT CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM TIX STILL AVAILABLE FOR THURS AND FRI Two sisters pass the time by writing a romance novel. But when they invite their friendly handyman to become their co-author, the line between reality and fiction blurs. Their heroine gets stranded on a lonely wooded island. A dashing pilot joins her when his small plane crashes. A bear attacks. The star-crossed lovers dance and make love under the stars. In the process inhibitions get left behind in a pile on the living room floor, as the authors find themselves living the hot and steamy clichés of their book. TEAR IT OFF features con-con company members Lucy Bredeson-Smith, Beau Reinker and Lauren B. Smith, and newcomer to the Liminis stage, Terence Cranendonk. TEAR IT OFF, which opened to full houses last weekend, runs Thu-Sat at 8 pm through Sept 5 at the Liminis theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113, in the historic Tremont neighborhood.
