Audition Dates: August 14-15, 2016 Show Dates: January 27 - February 18, 2017 Venue and Company: Aurora Community Theatre in Aurora, Ohio The Play: A classic American play by William Inge. Takes place one late evening and early morning in a bus depot / greasy spoon diner as a busload of characters are snowed in, waiting for roads to be cleared. Equal parts comedy, drama, and romance, the play explores different types of love - filial, agape, erotic, parental, and more - through the lenses of 8 different characters. The Roles: Everything is open, any race. Need 3 women, teens through 60s. Need 5 men, 20s through 60s. Cowboys, waitresses, a bus driver, a local sheriff, a depraved professor, a chanteuse: it's all in here. Those interested should bring a resume and headshot, if they have them, and can either prepare a 2-3 minute monologue or use the readings from the script that will be available.
