The English Speaking Union In cooperation with the Great Lakes Theater Education Department Presents All-City Shakespeare 2018: Romeo and Juliet Our second annual benefit to support the funding of Shakespeare programming for students and teachers across northeast Ohio. We are currently looking for classroom teachers and youth actors ages 14+ for a one-night only, site-specific production of Romeo and Juliet at the Acacia Reservtion. AUDITIONS: Auditions are Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10AM-3PM at the Great Lakes Theater Educational Space at 1422 Euclid Avenue, Suite 1064, Cleveland, OH 44115 (in the Hanna Building on the corner of East 14th Street and Euclid Avenue). PERFORMANCE: The Gala performance will be on the evening of June 29th, 2018 at Dino’s Catering at the Acacia Reservation. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will take place on weekday evenings and weekend days. All Roles Available please bring the following: - Two prepared contrasting monologues, preferably one Shakespeare - A list of theatrical experience - A recent photo - Calendar of confliicts between April 28th and June 29th - An acapella song (optional) Auditions are by appointment only.
