FREE ACTOR WORKSHOPS in Cleveland and Stark County It's a new year, a new season, and we've got a terrific line-up of *FREE *Actor Workshops with an awesome bonus! We're going to host *TWO *sessions of each workshop to create even more accessibility for our NE Ohio community. For each of our workshops this year, we will hold one session in a Cleveland-adjacent location and - *thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark* - we will hold an additional session in a Stark County location for those who live further south. For our first FREE workshop, we're excited to offer a special masterclass led by actor and director of *La Siempreviva *at LatinUs Theater and *El Coquí Espectacular and the Bottle of Doom at Teatro Publico de Cleveland, *Fabio Polanco. Check out Fabio's full bio here! <https://www.kent.edu/theatredance/profile/fabio-polanco> *Theatre of the Oppressed: A Look at the Theatrical Practices of Augusto Boal: *Developed by Brazilian theatre artists and activist, Augusto Boal, Theatre of the Oppressed uses theatre to empower individuals and communities to transform their lives. It is "rehearsal for life". Come explore some of the branches of this UNESCO world "Method of Change" in this interactive and illuminating workshop. *Session in Cleveland:* Wednesday, September 10th, 6:30-9:30 pm at Franklin Circle Church (1688 Fulton Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44113) / Parking is free in the lot to the south of the building as well as on the street. *Session in Stark County:* Saturday, September 13th, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in The Giese Performing Arts Center at Mount Union University in Alliance, Ohio / Parking is free and adjacent to the theatre on the west side of the building.
