*Director of Marketing* The Director of Marketing will report to Great Lakes Light Opera’s Executive Director. *Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* - Managing Social Media forums and posting on behalf of the Great Lakes Light Opera · Writing and distributing press releases for productions and public educational programming · Attracting media attention and garnering press coverage for the Great Lakes Light Opera’s events · Designing and creating print materials for distribution · Maintaining the Great Lakes Light Opera’s website *Required qualifications:* Marketing experience required. Detail oriented, self-sufficient, creative, positive and assertive attitude. Proficient in MS word, articulate verbal and written communication skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and ability to think quickly on your feet. *Preferred skills:* Graphic design, public relations experience. *Time commitment:* 5 hours per week, flexible schedule *Compensation:* Volunteer position with opportunity for growth.
