Performers cast may be required for doubling. Open Male Featured / Ensemble Parts *Bobby Vee* – One of the best-selling teen idols of the day. *Neil Sedaka* – Contemporary singer-songwriter of the day, who once dated Carole in high school and wrote a song about it. *Bobby Hatfield (Righteous Brother)* – Must sing tenor; featured vocalist. *Lou Adler* – Speaking role, but a singer is preferred for the Ensemble. (The legendary LA music executive producer.) *Drifters* – Two Black males needed. Strong singers who can carry their own line of four-part harmony and good movers who can execute guy group choreography of the day (think The Temptations and The Four Tops).
