THE WESTERN RESERVE PLAYHOUSE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE AUDITIONS FOR… A Christmas Carol In prose, being a ghost story for Christmas A Play Adapted by August Scarpelli Based on the Novel by Charles Dickens Charles Dickens’ Immortal tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the spirits that review his past and foretell his future. Directed by: Maria Maggard Audition Dates: Thursday October 10th, 2024 - 630pm-10pm Saturday October 12th, 2024 - 12pm-4pm Audition Location: The Western Reserve Playhouse 3326 Everett Road Bath, Ohio 44286 Callbacks: AS NEEDED Monday October 14th, 2024 - 630pm-10pm Performances: 12/12/24 -12/22/24 (Thursdays,Fridays and Saturdays @ 8pm, Sundays @ 2pm) Rehearsals: Will begin approximately the week of November 4th, 2024. Rehearsals will typically run Sunday-Thursday based on cast availability. What to prepare: - 1-3 minute monologue or speech that you find might be thematically related. - You may be asked to cold read from the script - Please bring all conflicts for the rehearsal and performance process. We are seeking a diverse, multi-generational cast. Roles available to persons 6 years of age and up. The genders/ages outlined below are as indicated by the script; however, they do not have to match the performer's actual identity or age, provided you feel confident in portraying the character.
