Cleveland Musical Theatre is currently seeking an Equity ASM for its upcoming production of the musical "Jane Eyre." This position will work directly with the Production Stage Manager to ensure the smooth execution of the show. Start date would be August 7, 2018 for prep and August 14, 2018 for rehearsals. Opening Night is August 31. Production closes September 9. All rehearsals and performances are at Cuyahoga Community College - Eastern Campus. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Work with the PSM to ensure that all AEA rules are followed; 2) Create show specific paperwork which may include (but is not limited to): props tracking, run sheets, contact sheets, schedules, etc.; 3) Oversee the running of the deck during tech and show calls; 4) Serve as a primary point of contact for both the artistic and production staffs QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with ASM'ing large musicals ​ A motivated self-starter who can anticipate the needs of a production and help to facilitate them ​ A calm, level-headed individual who knows how to balance the work that needs to be done with the fun that should accompany every process ​ Exceptionally detail oriented and able to generate clear, efficient paperwrk This position will be operating under an Equity contract (LOA ref. LORT) which shall include Health & Pension contributions. Rate is $675/wk.
